ITA_ Marni incontra Francesco Jodice. Un teatro per mettere in scena l’incontro di un fotografo e Marni. Un pomeriggio per ascoltare la personale visione della fotografia di Francesco Jodice e per parlare della sua opera e dei suoi progetti. Una lezione dalla quale è nata la collaborazione tra l'azienda e l'artista che ha portato alla realizzazione degli scatti per "L'arte del Ritratto".

L’artista ha raccontato la genesi dei propri lavori, di come si siano evoluti e modificati nel tempo e di come, alla fine, abbiano preso forma nella loro versione definitiva. Progetti mai nati per caso e per puro piacere estetico, ma scaturiti dalla volontà di indagare i cambiamenti sociali della nostra epoca, scrutando, in maniera mai voyeristica e critica, la complessità della società odierna: dalle periferie metropolitane, alle multietniche classi scolastiche piemontesi, passando per i crocevia urbani fino all’ultimo importante progetto realizzato per il Prado di Madrid nel 2011: Spectaculum spectatoris.

A theatre becomes the backdrop for a meeting between a photographer and Marni, in an afternoon of listening to the personal vision of the photography of Francesco Jodice and talking about his work and his projects. With this lesson began the collaboration between the company and the artist that has led to the creation of the shots for "L'arte del Ritratto".

The artist tells of the genesis of his works, how they have evolved and changed in the course of time and how they arrived at their final form. Projects that never began by chance or out of pure aesthetic pleasure, but were born of the desire to analyse the social changes of our time, scrutinising, in a way that is far from voyeuristical or critical, the complexity of today’s society: from the outskirts of the city to the multiethnic classes of Piedmontese schools, from the urban crossroads to his latest important project created for Prado in Madrid in 2011: Spectaculum spectatoris.
